Created by Landor Associates, CFR’s new visual identity improves the connection between CFR's work and its broadening base of constituencies. Objective Subject realized the comprehensive communications system from the initial vision to an ongoing relationship to maintain brand standards.
After an intensive organization-wide audit of material uses and needs, we created and refined brand guidelines to govern all platforms and channels of communication including printed publications, online material, and physical touchpoints. By approaching the realization of the brand holistically, each of the brand elements fully conveys the important work of CFR.

We transitioned CFR’s laser-printed stationery and ad-hoc materials to one consistent suite of custom, high-quality, and on-brand materials. All elements were produced with the environment in mind—100% post-consumer waste & FSC certified paper—without sacrificing high tactile and visual standards.

CFR.org serves as the central hub for published work, original interactive media, and institutional information. It receives 340,000 unique visitors monthly and makes publicly available some of the most engaging and authoritative information on international issues and policies.
Objective Subject worked closely with CFR's excellent in-house web management and development team to overhaul the aesthetic of the site to be straight-forward, elegant, and on-brand.
