Aaron Carámbula

AaronHailing from Kalamazoo, Michigan, Aaron Caràmbula graduated from Western Michigan University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design. Hired at Landor Associates’ Manhattan offices, Aaron rapidly rose and worked on key accounts such as the NFL / SuperBowl XL, Lenovo / Thinkpad, People Magazine and Verizon, to name a few. Aaron then went on, as Senior Designer at FutureBrand in New York, to lead on a diverse array of projects for clients like Mastercard, Verizon and Microsoft. He was also the lead creative on Chevrolet's new global branding initiative, which resulted in a redefined identity including a new logotype, a brand new custom-designed typeface and inclusive standards guidelines for all of Chevrolet's foreign and emerging markets, that was rolled out in over 50 countries.

Aaron is also well-versed in website development, and has a keen interest in all matters typography. He is a member of the American Institute of Graphic Arts and the Type Director's Club. His side-project Friends of Type is an outlet for typographic and social media experimentation.

David Jalbert-Gagnier

DavidBorn in Montréal in a cold February, David Jalbert-Gagnier earned a Diplôme d’Études Collégiales in Graphic Design from Dawson College. After a stint studying philosophy, Landor Associates lured him back to design and David moved to New York City. There he created work for Horizons National (a childrens educational foundation), packaging for Smirnoff, and the branding system for Embraer’s executive jets.

He then went on the team of award-winning, Frankfurt-based studio Ade Hauser Lacour. David worked on varied project like exhibition and website design for the Frankfurter Kunstverein, the contemporary arts institution. Information architecture for Germany’s #1 automobile website, AutoScout24.de, and the website for conceptual artist Simone Decker were other projects he worked on while in Germany.

His skills extend from the design and programming of interfaces, fed by his interests in the most complex of systems (he loves transit diagrams).

Holly LaDue

HollyAs Objective Subject’s Project Manager, Holly will be a primary contact and will be responsible for coordinating all project deadlines and deliverables, and managing relationships with clients, printers, and suppliers. Holly also serves as the principal in-house copy writer for the firm.

Prior to joining Objective Subject, she served as an editor at Phaidon Press in New York for four years, overseeing books on contemporary art and architecture. Most recently she managed Phaidon’s 10x10 series, books on emerging practitioners in fields as diverse as film, food, graphic design, and architecture.

Originally from Long Island and Vermont, Holly holds a Bachelor of Science in Urban Planning from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York.

Mark Silver

HollyMark is an Objective Subject designer and Web developer. He pairs a refined aesthetic with a unique understanding of structure and behavior.

Hailing from Kansas City, Mark graduated from Parsons the New School for Design with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Product Design, and from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Arts in French.

Concerned with finding beauty through simple and elegant solutions, Mark is an intuitive designer who excels at complex user interface problems and compelling interactive web design.
